The “Full-Load Network” is the founding division of ELVIS AG and was established in 2006. Essentially this division deals with transport in the conventional trans-European cargo area.
The vehicles deployed for this are mainly semi-trailers (articulated lorries) with a loading capacity of 90 cubic meters. These vehicles can take up to 25 tons of freight and are still the all-rounders among heavy goods vehicles.
In total there are over 35 member companies with c. 6,000 units in this division. Optimisation of the truck and trailer swaps and joint appearances at major customers are two of the important matters for the network.
No more under-utilisation of capacity, complicated load combinations and improvisation with partial-load transport!
With the first German network for the handling of HGV part-loads, ELVIS Teilladungssystem GmbH has created the conditions for conveying part-loads for the first time systematically from every freight forwarder in Germany to every place of delivery in Germany and the neighbouring countries without having to lump together inefficient load combinations with your own fleet of vehicles.
The fundamental idea behind this network is the combination of depot and hub transport under a unified IT and organisational structure. New and exciting here is the time-saving and safe transshipment of approximately 1,500 tonnes of part-loads every night to the central ELVIS hub in Knüllwald-Remsfeld.
Successful on the market since 2011, the Part-Load Network has meanwhile connected 75 national and 20 international partner depots and forwards daily over 120 heavy goods vehicles from the central hub.

It is now a tradition for us to offer apprenticeships every year for the role of logistics services specialist and IT specialist in Wolfsburg. In Wolfsburg and Ludwigsfelde, we also offer professional driver apprenticeships.
From our potential apprentices we particularly expect a strong interest in the job, motivation and the ability and interest to deal with people (communications skills). As some of the time you will be contacting customers and partners directly, you additionally need good manners.

Our company has developed in a region which is one of the heartlands of the German automobile industry and the engine of the German economic miracle. Today all our branches are found in strategic locations in Germany: Close to or in metropolitan areas that are significant for our customers.
As procurement, storage and distribution logistics experts, we operate the most modern warehouses in these locations to fulfil the requirements given to us. This is also a way of being close to our customers.
Following the call of the automobile industry, we have shared our home town with Vokswagen since the 1950s. Here you will find us in the Heinenkamp industrial zone, just outside the town, in a newly built, modern logistics centre, which we moved into in 1999. The heart of the site is a narrow-aisle racking system for water-polluting and hazardous substances with a current capacity of 3,440 rack positions. In the attached administration complex the central administrative threads of the branches are connected.
Thanks to an autobahn connection on our doorstep and the proximity to the East-West or North-South axes on the A2 and A7, Wolfsburg is an ideal location for scheduled services and distribution transport within Germany and to other European countries.
In Ludwigsfelde, an industrial centre south of Berlin, we handle storage and supply logistics projects for the automobile, construction materials and food processing industries from our own logistics complex.
The easily-accessible facility located on the site of the former IFA truck plant, offers ramp-accessible warehouses, transshipment halls, and high-bay warehouses in combination with generous covered outdoor storage areas and loading zones. The consolidated shipments and distribution transport for the Berlin metropolitan area/Brandenburg are controlled here.
Ludwigsfelde is the location of one of our centres of automobile competence. Since the early 70s, we have been the regional freight forwarder for Volkswagen in Berlin and, since the fall of the Berlin Wall, also in Brandenburg.
Our branch in Baden presents, since its foundation in 2005, a further competence centre for our logistics services. Cross-sector orders in procurement logistics comprise, in addition to the organisation of incoming freight in the areas of consolidated goods, full loads and just-in-time goods, the warehousing and order picking of supplier parts as well as packaging of the goods to suit production requirements and delivery to the production or to the shipping department.
The branch’s location – strategically positioned near the A5 axis in one of the automotive centres of South Germany – and the many years of experience of the Gübau Group in the automotive area form a successful combination.
A 100%-owned subsidiary of the Gübau Group, Vetra Spedition specialises in warehouse and transportation logistics for temperature-controlled industrial goods. Dedicated warehouses for hazardous goods and substances classified under the Water Resources Law (WHG), comprehensive know-how and our connection with special transport equipment ensure high-quality service processes.
In the automobile industry, Vetra is among the most important specialists in this sector. For the well-known producers in the chemicals industry, coatings and paints are removed directly from the plant, and after interim buffering in our own warehouse they are distributed according to demand in Germany and all over Europe.
Vetra has been certified and audited according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 SQAS.
Logtrans Spedition + Logistik GmbH originated in 1990 from a long-standing cooperation between the Schnellecke and Gübau companies and has been operating since 1994 at the Ludwigsfelde location. As a service provider for the automobile industry and in partnership with the Gübau Group, the company has wide-ranging experience in the execution of just-in-time shipping and logistic services for the automobile industry.
Many years of activity in distribution logistics for construction materials and the food, drink and tobacco industry, as well as in the organisation of transport in Eastern Europe, customs warehouses and supplementary logistic services, round off the service spectrum.
